The Position:

The Director of Commercial Audio Sales will be responsible for all aspects of sales related to the AtlasIED Commercial Audio Solutions for North America. This position will direct the actual distribution or movement of a product or service to the certified integrators, customers, and dealers. This position coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, goals and establishes programs for certified integrators and dealers, factory representatives, consultants, and end users and works directly with the Vice President of Sales to ensure that these targets are aligned with the expectations and goals of the company.


Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the administration of programs, promotions, and the acceptance of orders for certified integrators and dealers. Will work to resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Responsible for the sales of AtlasIED products in assigned territory. Will monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts, pricing schedules and discount rates. Advise certified integrators and dealers on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
  • Work with the field-based Manufacturer Rep organizations to prepare them to demonstrate and sell the AtlasIED Commercial Audio Solutions.
  • Identify target reseller partners that AtlasIED should be working with and arrange introductions to the local RSM’s and Manufacturer Rep organizations.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products and manage independent representative companies and travel the area assigned to service certified integrators and dealers of the region.
  • Lead the AtlasIED effort with groups like PSNI.
  • Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment/products to purchase.
  • Support Regional Sales Managers and the Manufacturer Rep Organizations and their sales efforts.
  • Work closely with other Senior leaders at AtlasIED to ensure the policies, procedures, and overall experience that support the AtlasIED Reseller Channel are the best in the industry.
                                                                           

Essential Tasks

  • Advise certified integrators and dealers on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business. 
  • Confer or consult with project management, engineers and software development team to secure information required to meet project specifications customer expectations.   
  • Must be able to provide special consideration to special orders as well as special needs of certified integrators and dealers.   


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business

  • 10 years plus related Sales experience at a senior level

  • 10 years of progressively increasing B2B sales

  • 10 years in the professional audio/video industry, preferably in the commercial industry, including technical aptitude

  • 5 years of staff management 


Skills & Abilities

  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
  • Has demonstrated ability to close deals and move a company/strategy forward to a successful outcome.
  • Product knowledge of all MiTek Commercial brands
  • Knowledge of ISO documentation requirements
  • Understanding of product features, benefits, pricing, positioning, design, and advertising
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to supervise
  • Ability to sell
  • Ability to maintain a personal or company credit card

Normal office setting except when traveling.
