- Test electronics units, using standard test equipment, and analyzing results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.
- Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components.
- Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components, using hand tools and soldering iron.
- Perform preventative and retroactive maintenance of test equipment and systems.
- Procure parts and maintain inventory and related documentation.
- Write reports and record data on testing techniques, laboratory equipment, and specifications to assist engineers.
- Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts.
- Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.
- Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics, using hand and power tools.
- Operate programmable AC auto tester, sampling and real-time oscilloscopes, pulse generators, meters, power supplies and special AC test fixtures.
- Assist with training new technician’s product-specific troubleshooting, quality guidelines, and AP system testing.

EDUCATION
Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE
One to three years’ experience in electronics.

Computer Skills
- Intermediate MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, AIM, and Outlook)
- The ability to learn internal MiTek systems as needed

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and test equipment
